gopro hero 2 wireless option for vdmx?

We're looking at using several of the go pro cameras wirelessly. It seems they stream to phones and tablets but not to laptops according to one of their sales reps.
I'm assuming we can somehow usurp the video stream? or possibly do some thing silly like bring the iPad/iphone camera in to the laptop via a cable kit? Wireless would be so much more elegant.

To use the IPhone/IPad camera you can use Airbeam which would allow you to have multiple cameras fed into VDMX as individual syphon streams.
You will need higher spec to run many streams

are you saying that airbeam, the free version from mac app store for use on your actual computer not iphone or ipad, will also the wireless input from a GoPro Hero 2 or 3 Black automatically? That seems unlikely.

No it wont stream wirelessly from a GoPro.

The latency is too much if you try and stream from them.

But you can use the camera from a iPad/iPhone.
