cheers! Yea, i'm quite chuffed about that. James from CDM emailed me and asked how come when he ran the QTZ it was simply a white blob and didn't look like what I had, so I emailed back with the effects chain I used (and i've updated the post on my site to reflect that too). He kinda compares it to the Gantz Graf video from a few years back, which is quite complimentary... but of course that video was - and still is - completely blow-your-socks-off mind blowing! I'm looking forward to playing more along these lines... if only I had more free time :S

wicked stuff memo. amazing example of what you can do with a bit of quartz knowledge and a slick fx chain.

I wasn't sure if I should revive this thread up from the graveyard or make my own for this question .. anyways this at least shows I did a search in the forums :P

I tried to run the GLSL inside QC ...the inputs all are created but then nothing happens. any idea what I could be missing?

Listenpreis oder Rabatt ist die frage :D
what do you like to do exactly ?
the same as memo did?

then load the qtz from http://machinesdontcare.wordpress.com/
put in the media bin
play it
sync controls to aa
put some nice efx on that layer
and record it
then put it on vimeo
:D
works perfect i just did it (except the rec and vimeo part)

or do you have a general problem with glsl?
then you have to be more precise what is not working.

I'm fairly interested in this, what qtz patch is it? Does it work with lion and the latest vdmx? What would be the bare minimum to get anything but a white blob?
