Is there a simple step I am missing?

I have installed the .plugin file into the correct directory, but still the output is just black. Oh and VDMX is version b0.7.0.8. As far as working with the file in QC, I have to apologize I have just recently installed it, mainly to work with Vade's plugins, but I am still trying to get my head around it.

For what its worth, ive tested some other plugins, and they seem to work, so it looks like its only the RE plugin where this comes to light.
