v002 Plugins thread (update: Glitch plugins for 10.6)

Just a note, I have updated the Rutt Etra to be a touch faster (2x ) and have released a new version of the screen capture plugin, which has many more features, and most importantly works in the QC editor properly.

Hey ya. Sorry but right now that patch has no QT recording functionality in it, and nor does VDMX. There is a movie exporter example plugin for QC though in the developer site. You might be able to get that working.

Im in the process of uploading some fixes to plugins that myself and bangnoise have worked on. Right now there are huge improvements in patch compatibility and color fidelity with the Blurs (it looks a shit-ton better in VDMX) as well as some crash fixes for the Screen Capture. Ill some other updates to the other plugins as well (mostly relating to color fidelity issues for Film and Optical flow).

Thanks. Heres an idea of what the blur fixes gets you - removal of artifacts and proper gamma/colorspace for the resulting blurred image:

I've sent you the crash report info - but seems it may have been some kind of incomplete download of the plugin!? - after a clean download and install - I now have screen capture working fine on QC and VDMX -

Good to hear its working. I was confused, I tested the hell out of this revision and it seemed solid.
