Honestly, I have no idea.

The computer to the left controlled the huge LED-Wall running through the club.
OF COURSE I played around with it all night. :D It was able to display a huge equalizer (connected to the DJ mixer). Awesome stuff.

One little note to the small KORG nanoPAD: The pads are velocity-sensitive. I connected this value to e.g. the pixelate-size. Tha harder I punched on it, the larger the pixels got. :D

I found something new in the web, that I think you should have seen:

Rotary knobs, glued on the laptop screen!
:D

Also a nice controller (for 4 layers?): Allen & Heath Xone:1D

i've had 2 korg nanocontrollers. love the size, hate that they break. I've busted two white ones, and the black one is holding up 8)

I just got some korg nano-controls (drum pad and slider/knob combo - black of course...) so I dont have to lug large shit with me. 2 gigs so far, and theyve worked fine. They are nice and small, although im worried about the build quality, they feel kind of cheapish, and they are not even the same height, not even close...

but, I love lightweight gig bags :)

I used to use a Korg Nano Control, but it was just a touch too large and I never used the piano keys.

Anyway...

the black one died :(
i got a nanokontrol a couple of months back, but all pot meters reached 127 at about 55%. this, of cource, can't be made up for using behaviors, so i sent it in. couldn't wait for korg service to make up their mind(s?) about it, so i got another one. that one has a bad #9, but i can live with that. finally korg replaced the first one.
i seriously consider making some kind of lid for it for transportation.

or move to heavier hardware altogether Image

Yeah I swear that Korg has a whole division of customer service reps that deal with the the Nano series. They should just sell them at Toys-R-Us, or even better just make them 10 bucks and call them disposable midi controllers.

A friend is gonna sell me one of these though fer cheep

Problem is, its huge!!! I was thinking my media bin is now gonna go on the bottom of the screen and be very long

So I'm at guitar center trying to figure out what to buy. What would you guys say about a mpk25 for a main controller? Seems to have enough knobs/pads for a newbor and I can play with some music too with the keys.

Need reply soon because I'm at the store!

Hey the Akai APC40 is looking really good to me as a VJ controller:

http://www.apc40.com/

Its supposed to be for Ableton Live, but after getting to play with one for a bit at the Sonar demo area I'm thinking about trading up from my Akai MPD32.
